The stations participated in the following recruitment initiatives during the period covered by this report…

-Sound Communications LLC participated in a Tour for Cub Scout Troop 1056 of Alfred Almond  on January 14th, 2014.

-Sound Communications LLC participated in a Tour for Cub Scout Troop of Wayland on February 6th, 2014.

-Sound Communications LLC participated in a Tour for a Cub Scout Troop on February 27th, 2014.

-Sound Communications LLC participated in a Tour for Tiger Cub Scout Troop 7 of Hornell on March 14th 2014

-Sound Communications LLC participated in a 4 (30 Minutes) sessions on “Radio Broadcasting as a Career” at the State University of New York at Geneseo on March 18th, 2014.

-Sound Communications LLC participated in a Tour for a Cub Scout Troop on March 26th, 2014.

-Sound Communications LLC participated in a Tour for a Tiger Cub Scout Troop on March 27th, 2014.

-Sound Communications LLC participated in Sayre Junior/Senior High School Career Day on April 16th, 2014

– Sound Communications LLC participated in the 2014 Regional Job Fair at Murray Athletic Center, Horseheads NY on April 22rd, 2014.

– Sound Communications LLC participated in the Corning Chamber’s YEA group at Corning Painted Post West High School on May 14th, 2014

-Sound Communications LLC participated in a “Shadow”  Program  with Lucas Debra on October 22nd, 2014.

– Sound Communications LLC participated in a tour for the Campbell Savona High School Communications Class on October 29th, 2014.

– Sound Communications LLC participated in a tour for the Creative Kids Preschool on November 6th, 2014.

-Sound Communications LLC participated in an intern placement  program with St. Bonaventure University, resulting in the placement of 3 interns during the fall/winter of 2014 and 2 interns during the winter of 2015.

– Sound Communications LLC participated in a tour for the CCC Childcare Center on December 10th, 2014

-Sound Communications LLC participated in a Tour for a Cub Scout Troop #1151 from Wayland on January 19th, 2015.

– Sound Communications LLC participated in tours for Cub Scout and Boy scout troops from Allegany, NY on December 10th, 2014

-Sound Communications LLC participated in on-the job training for part-time announcers, through training sessions in areas of station operations, digital audio, web, live broadcast assist, voice techniques, public service and commercial recording, emergency alerts and weather coverage.

-Sound Communications LLC participated in a winter break internship program starting in December of 2014 and Ending in January of 2015 with Erin Gould  from Oswego University.  She shadowed the day to day operations of the stations in each department including; On-Air, Traffic, Production, Sales and Programming.
